What USB Network Gate’s сustomers say
Great for Cross-Office USB Sharing
USB Network Gate has made managing USB devices across our multiple office locations incredibly easy. We use it to share printers, scanners, and even security dongles over the network, and it works seamlessly across both Windows and macOS machines. The software was simple to set up, and the performance has been excellent. The only small issue I ran into was when switching between networks, the devices sometimes needed to be manually reconnected. A quick update to the software resolved this issue, and since then, everything has been running smoothly. Overall, USB Network Gate is a fantastic tool for anyone needing to share USB devices across multiple locations.
Reliable for Remote USB Access
I’ve been using USB Network Gate for a while now to access USB devices remotely, and it has been extremely reliable. We primarily use it for sharing USB drives and printers between different office locations, and it has worked perfectly in most cases. My only minor issue occurred when a device didn’t recognize after a reboot. However, after manually reconnecting the device, it worked as expected. This hasn’t been a recurring problem, and I believe it was just a one-off issue. I’m very satisfied with the performance and would definitely recommend USB Network Gate.
Effective for Sharing USB Devices
USB Network Gate has been a great solution for managing USB devices across multiple locations in our company. We use it to access external drives and printers located in different departments. The software was easy to set up, and the performance has been fantastic. The only minor issue I had was that sometimes it took a while for the software to recognize the device after a system restart, but this was easily fixed by refreshing the connection. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the product and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs reliable USB sharing.
Remote access to scanner for students
Had to find a way to let students access a specific high-res scanner from off-campus for their research projects. With USB Network Gate, I connected the scanner to our lab’s server, and now students can scan directly from their laptops like it’s plugged in locally. Setup took maybe 15 minutes. For IT, that’s gold. No weird configurations, just clean USB-over-network functionality. Makes our limited hardware go a lot further.
Sharing hardware license dongles for test automation
We use specialized software at MedEquipTech that requires a USB license dongle to run. Our QA team needs access to it from several test machines, which was a nightmare before. USB Network Gate fixed that completely. Now the dongle is plugged into one central desktop, and everyone connects virtually. No more swapping dongles or waiting. It’s stable, fast, and just works—even under heavy test loads. Couldn’t do my job without it now.
