Elmedia Player

Worked for me on lot’s of formats Quicktime player could not open.

Very satisfied with this player, it can run all video and audio formats. I’ve used this player since 2017 and never regretted it.

For a long time I was a faithful Windows user. There were many videos in .wmv and .avi formats on my PC. After I got my first MacBook, I faced the fact that playing these files on Mac is a big problem. At first I tried to convert all my video files using an online video converter, however, it took a lot of time. Then I tried to find a player that can be a solution in this situation, and after several attempts, Elmedia became a perfect option for me. The design is nothing superfluous, only functionality. Pretty clear and very simple. I just drag the files to Elmedia and all my WMV and AVI videos are played without any hassle. I use the free version of Elmedia Player and so far it fully covers my needs.

Elmedia supports all kinds of codecs (including .mkv and .avi) and is easy to use.
