Elmedia Player

Elmedia has a very nice elegant interface. Much better than quicktime and it fits perfectly to every design aspect of macOS. It permanently receives updates and is actively developed. This video player provides massive support while being so lightweight.

This is the best free replacement for the default Mac video player, Quicktime. It can play content from any container. I was so frustrated with the lack of file format support with quicktime so I gave this a shot and it works great.

Play everything that I need. Pleasant design and especially I like the dark interface, looks very stylish.

VLC player is the best for me … but this one in general is also ok. Nothing special.
